I just purchased this bra and received it today. I am only a 44 D...not that big. I couldn't even get the bra on. Very annoyed. Now I have to purchase another one in a 3x and make a special trip to send this one back. Not a happy person.

Runs SMALL

After reading other reviews before ordering, disappointed that I couldn't experience the great supportive sports bra everyone was raving about. The one I received was so small I could barely get it over my head, much less my breasts. Some reviewers suggested ordering up a size. After my experience, if I was to re-order, I'd go up at least two sizes.. My two stars only reflect the fact I couldn't really evaluate bra because I couldn't get it on.
OTPS Response: Hi Mary, Thank you for your review and I'm sorry to hear the Sport Top didn't fit as expected. We have received your returned and processed a refund for you. The Sport Top is meant to fit snugly for extra support and comfort but not so tight that you cannot get it on; if you need any assistance with the sizing please feel free to contact our Customer Service team.

Still LOVE these bras. With my large KK cup size I still needed better support. Now I double up. I wear two at the same time to get full, no movement, support. Works perfectly! Since I've owned quite a few for a couple years now I've noticed they do stretch a bit over time with the elastic getting a little looser. Not terribly by any means. Just mentioned it because I would not worry about shrinkage and do not recommend buying next size up. I'm short so should straps are perfect for me. I can see where one would want to alter straps by adding more elastic if your tall. These are a blessing for me. Couldn't live without them. Thank you Plus Side!

Perfect!

Good comfortable support

I like this bra -- it's like a double bra, so it's supportive. It also is longer so it fits down around all your curves. I haven't been able to find a good bra in years, and this is a good one.

Great supportive bra

This bra is soft, durable, and way more supportive than I expected after reading some of the other comments. I definitely wear it out and about to run errands. It is an unusual construction, like two soft bras in one attached at the top. This makes it more absorbent, adjustable, and supportive IMO. As for fit, I purchased this one size up: I bought a 6X and normally wear a 5X in shirts and a 46DD in bras. I'm also very tall. The fit is perfect, although I will say after several hours of wear it begins to feel tight in the armpits. Otherwise, I love it! It covers well, does not dig in, and feels supportive. It looks just like the picture on me. Just... you know, wider.

Updated Review to Match New Sizing

L-O-V-E this bra!!! :-) :-) :-) I wear it at university (student) & around the house, or when I need to do some physical work (moving stuff around, etc.) in which my underwire bras would hurt me. I am a 38/40 "N" cup in N.A. sizes, I think ("K" in UK sizes), and the 2 is perfect for me; just the right amount of lift :-) I wouldn't wear this for, say, jogging, but, at my cup size, the only bras that work for something like that feel like a tight corset :-P

Best Sports Bra I've Found!!

I first want to say to the dissatisfied reviewers, I feel your frustration. I've been looking for a bra for years that has a large enough coverage with support, AND doesn't bind. Second, true, these sizes are different than other stores, so make sure you review the sizing chart for the best fit. Third, I'm overweight with a much smaller bra size than before, and because of my surgery, I now wear a strange size (a-b) in other store standards. Here, I wear a 8X. So, if you're quite endowed, you may want to try a regular support bra. For me, it is the best feeling and supportive bra to my full back and under my breasts. I use to be a JJ, so I do understand how you larger women feel about this bra. So, to the others of you that may fit somewhere in this category, I suggest you measure yourself to see what size you are and be aware that this is not a typical "supportive" bra. Also, the lining inside the bra is put there for additional support. Hope this helps :-)

Finally! Comfortable Support

This is a soft, super comfortable fabric and yet has allot of support. That's saying allot coming from a 46KK. Mind you I would NEVER wear this out of my home. It's strictly for under my comfy home shirts. But such a relief to find one that actually covers (mostly) and supports. It is actually 2 layers or 2 in one. All the way around too. the outer is more cotton and the under is more spandex. They feel great! Not just in the front but all the way around. Just got mine yesterday so haven't washed it yet. I wear a 5x in tops but got the 7x and 'am ordering an 8x for little better coverage and in case it shrinks. Ofcourse it doesn't fit anything like the model where on her it goes down to the top of her tummy, but can't tell by looking in a mirror it doesn't fit all the way 'under' my br...sts and it doesn't feel weird but I'm still going for the 8x. Oh and I'm only 5'2" tall & the shoulders feel great. Good support all the way around my body. Not like a real bra for someone built like me but that's ok at home.

I do not like this bra...very uncomfortable and is not made for the size. The size I bought keeps riding up so bought a bigger size and there is not a difference. The arms are to tight around shoulders and keep pulling the bra up bought different sizes and the arms are same you would think would be bigger but not. Very disappointed. ..took bra apart to make wearable. The straps should have been longer and bra would be ok

this is an AWESOME "lounge around the house" bra :-) :-) Just b careful with the sizing: If you have huge boobs (I'm an "H" cup), and go by the clothing size listed after each letter, then you will get a bra that's too small. I consistently wear Size 20, but need a "G" in this bra. I tried the "H", and it was good, but I think once it stretches a little bit it will be too big.

sometime in the past 4 years the garments outer layer has been shortened quite a bit. There have been no changes to my body - and now the outer layer doesn't come to my waist. -- even if I had to keep my arms down.

This soft and comfie bra offers a surprising amount of support, even for my sagging breasts. No hooks, no rubbing on my midrift. I've tried sport bras from other companies and never gotten the support I have with this one.

I love, love, love this sport top/bra! The quality of the fabric is good, the construction as well. I actually prefer the second shelf because then I can wear it as a sport top without feeling like it's my bra that I'm out in public in. Funny how important that one layer is to my modesty. Plus -- it provides a little more oompf! to keep the girls in place. :)

I have been searching forever for a cotton bra. I am allergic to most synthetics. The bra is perfect if you trim off the extra shelf/layer that has the spandex. I don't know why that is needed - I can't handle the elastic against my skin, plus the extra layer made it too warm. Once removed, It was PERFECT!

For many years, since a year or two before the "tattoo" edition of the sport top came out -- I have loved this style of top. It is by far the best one available for us large women - that I have tried. It isn't a "5" because the old colorful palette was better. As a separate issue; I wish the spandex could last as long as the fabric and craftmanship.
