We offer returns or exchanges on any item in original, unwashed and unworn condition or found defective at ANY TIME with NO RESTOCKING FEE (clearance items excluded).

Getting the perfect fit in today's market is tricky, especially since a 3X or an XXL can mean something different in various brands. Often, other plus size clothing retailers offer patterns in larger sizes that are simply smaller sizes made larger, while ours are specifically designed for plus size body types. Since we only offer plus size clothing and every item is designed and made to our own exacting specifications, we are proud to provide the most flattering plus size fit for large women of all sizes. Once you know your On the Plus Side size, you will buy with absolute confidence. Our sizing is consistent and each item we offer is constructed to meet our stringent standards. 4. Why do some of your garments seem more highly priced than some other plus size clothing companies?

As an environmentally green company committed to providing our customers with the highest level of quality plus size clothing offered primarily in natural fibers, the majority of which is made in the USA with plus size designs focusing on style and function, we are confident you will find our clothing is worth every penny! We print only on paper from certified sustainable forests, we offer over 90% of our products in natural fibers and we choose to import only from socially responsible companies. All of this does cost a bit more, but in the end creates the best plus size clothing available that looks great on you, lasts an amazingly long time and that you can always feel good about buying.

5. Tell me more about your company.
In 2014, we celebrated our 30th year in business and are passionate about what we do. Our entire company shares one location, which allows us to respond to your concerns, suggestions and feedback almost immediately. We have over 40,000 customers worldwide in over 36 countries. We have always been an environmentally friendly company. All our printing is done on paper from certified sustainable forests, we use fiber reactive dyes and offer primarily natural fiber products. 6. Do you sell internationally?

7. Do you do layaway? Does On the Plus Side offer a credit card? Can I use Paypal?
On the Plus Side does not currently offer a layaway plan or a private credit card. We do use Paypal as our payment processor. We do accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover cards.

8. Why is this item discontinued/out of stock? I just got the catalog!
Many of our more popular items sell out quickly. Our long-time customers have learned to shop immediately to ensure they pick up our great seasonal styles before they sell out. We do offer many tried and true On the Plus Side Basics and great fashions from season to season, adding various colors throughout the year. Rarely, an item will come in not as originally represented by the vendor and we choose not to stock garments that don't pass our rigorous Quality Control testing.

9. What is Batiking and why does the one I received vary from the photo?
Batiking is an ancient process of using resists and hand-applied dyes to decorate fabric. Batiked items are unique and one-of-a-kind. Each garment is batiked or painted by hand before being laid out in the sun. Variations in color and pattern are expected and in fact, are one of the celebrated features of artisan-crafted garments.

10. Where do I enter my promotion code?
After adding an item to your Shopping Bag, you may enter your promotion code into the box underneath the "Shopping Bag" header and click the orange "APPLY PROMO>" button. You can apply this code at any time before checkout after adding an item to your Shopping Bag, or by clicking on the "Shopping Bag" link on the upper right hand corner of the page. As long as your promotion code is valid, it will automatically apply to your order. A red warning box will appear if the code entered is not valid.

Please keep in mind that some promotions require a manual adjustment, and may not appear on the order confirmation screen. For most promotions, however, you should see your adjusted total on the Confirmation page after completing your Billing & Shipping Information.

11. What does "Oversize" mean?
When you buy an "Oversize" garment from On the Plus Side, that means that we have included an additional 2-3 inches of ease to our standard 5-7 inches of ease for a total of up to 10 inches. We offer generous sizing and strongly encourage you to order within your size range and not order up. 12. Do you charge sales tax?
State laws require that we charge applicable sales tax on orders shipped to addresses in the following states and U.S. territories: AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, HI, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, NC, NE, NJ, NV, NY, OH, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, WV, and WY. We do not collect sales or use tax in states or US territories other than those in which we have a physical presence or are otherwise required to collect tax by law. Your purchase for delivery to these states may be subject to sales or use tax unless the purchase is specifically exempt. The laws of these states may require that a consumer's sales or use tax be paid annually on the appropriate tax forms. Please note that there is no exemption from state sales or use tax based merely on the fact that a purchase is made over the Internet or by other remote means.

13. When will my order be charged?
The financial institution associated with your method of payment will place an authorization on your account until we charge your order. The authorization usually appears as a pending charge on your account. Within 24 business hours of receiving an order confirmation we will charge your method of payment for the full order amount. Your order will ship as per the shipping method selected when the order was placed. In the case of pre-order items, your item(s) will ship by the date specified. You will receive shipping confirmation(s) when your item(s) ship.
